1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to LivePharmaJobs.com and related services that link to this policy, including candidate accounts, employer or recruiter accounts, job applications, job alerts, contact forms and recruitment-related communications. In this policy, “LivePharmaJobs”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of LivePharmaJobs.com.
We process personal data only for legitimate and lawful purposes connected with operating a pharmaceutical and life-sciences job platform. This policy is intended to be read together with applicable Indian data-protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules as they become applicable.

Candidate information
- name, email address, phone number and account credentials;
- city, preferred work location and other contact information you choose to provide;
- resume/CV, employment history, education, skills, certifications, experience and career preferences;
- job applications, saved jobs, job-alert preferences and communications with employers or the platform;
- profile photographs or other documents you voluntarily upload;
- information submitted when contacting support or reporting a job.
Employer and recruiter information
- name, business email, phone number, job title and account information;
- company name, company profile, business address, website and hiring information;
- job descriptions, application instructions, recruiter contact details and billing information where paid services are used;
- verification information we may request to reduce fraud or misuse.
Technical and usage data
- IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from network information, operating system and referral source;
- pages viewed, search terms, clicks, session information, login events and other service-usage data;
- cookie identifiers and analytics data where cookies or similar technologies are used.
Please do not include Aadhaar numbers, bank passwords, payment-card PINs, one-time passwords, medical records or other information that is unnecessary for a job application.
3. How we collect data
We collect information directly from you when you create an account, upload a resume, apply for a job, post a vacancy, subscribe to alerts, contact us or otherwise use the service. We may also receive information from employers, recruiters, service providers, public company career pages and other lawful sources when creating or verifying a job listing.
4. How and why we use data
We may use personal data to:
- create and administer accounts and profiles;
- enable candidates to search for, save and apply to jobs;
- enable employers and recruiters to post vacancies and review applications where the service supports this;
- send requested job alerts, service messages and account notifications;
- match or recommend jobs based on the preferences and information you provide;
- verify listings, investigate misuse and reduce recruitment fraud;
- respond to support requests, complaints and data-rights requests;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, measure and improve the website;
- comply with applicable legal obligations, lawful requests and dispute-resolution requirements.
Where consent is the appropriate basis for a processing activity, we will seek it through an appropriate notice or choice. You may withdraw consent where applicable, although withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out.

When you apply for a job, the receiving employer or recruiter may independently process the information you send. Their handling of that information may be governed by their own privacy practices and legal obligations.
7. Job alerts and communications
If you subscribe to email, WhatsApp or other job alerts, we use the contact details and preferences you provide to send relevant notices. You can unsubscribe from promotional or alert communications using the available unsubscribe method or by contacting us. Essential security, account or transactional notices may still be sent where necessary to operate your account.
8. Cookies and analytics
LivePharmaJobs may use strictly necessary cookies for login, security, preferences and core website functions. We may also use analytics or performance technologies to understand website usage and improve the service. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential technologies, an appropriate choice mechanism should be provided before such technologies are activated.

Some hosting, communications, analytics or other service providers may process data in countries other than the country where you live. Where personal data is transferred or processed internationally, we seek to use service providers and safeguards appropriate to applicable law.
14. Third-party sites and employers
Job listings may link to employer career sites, application systems, social networks or other third-party services. LivePharmaJobs does not control those third parties and this Privacy Policy does not govern their independent processing. Review the receiving organisation's privacy notice before submitting personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform, legal requirements or data practices change. The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made. Where required, additional notice will be provided.
